Rydale Childrens Nursery

The pre-school room

The pre-school room is a purpose built room. It cares for your child from their third birthday until they leave for school.  Our preschool offers your child access to a whole variety of activities within work and play structured themes. Within the pre-school the children are set targets which are linked into the curriculum and the seven areas of learning, These are linked to topics and themes that the children work on throughout the year.

The preschool offers a variety of activities and experiences including role play, mark making, sand and water play, a story and music area, a maths area and also a computer area. The majority of the activities are focused around the integral part of children’s learning-play; we also provide structured learning activities within their play. Our room has also been designed with a communication friendly feel to it. We have designed an inbuilt cosy area for those children who may feel like some quiet time.

We have a room that we use to play ring games, parachute games and get the soft play out. The older children also put on assemblies, nativities and performances for mummies, daddies and proud grandparents and carers.
